URGENT APPOINTMENTS/HOME VISITS ? - 01995 670066
The practice operates a triage system for the booking of appointments. This means
that when you call the surgery for an urgent appointment you will be asked for
your telephone number and a nurse will call you back to advise you of an appointment
to see the most appropriate person. This may not be a GP. Home visits will also
be triaged as it is usually better for you to be seen at appropriately equipped
and staffed medical premises, rather than at home where examination and treatment
can be more difficult. Remember, if your call is urgent and it is between 6.00pm
to 8.00am, you will have to ring the Preston Primary Care Centre on 01772
788058.
CANCELLATIONS
Do please remember to tell us if you are unable to turn up for an appointment;
we can always reuse this and minimise wasted time.
